Founder and lead songwriter Daniel has always had trouble keeping still. He´s performed 2,500 high-energy children´s concerts, an ideal living laboratory for testing new songs. But he also records and tours internationally with platinum-selling Latin artist Fito y Fitipaldis, and has three Latin Grammy nominations as a drummer. Additionally, Oxford University Press commissioned him to write six albums worth of original songs for its English-teaching series Stay Cool. In all he has written, produced or arranged some 400 songs for EFL/ESL publishers, with work published in 26 textbooks and 9 of his own CDs.
He also spent two years as a biingual primary teacher in Chicago. Born in Chicago, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University, receiving a B.A. in the Writing of Poetry with a minor in music education.
Producer-guitarist Jose has garnered 3 nominations to the Latin Grammys for his work as a record producer. With his amazing bag of sonic tricks, he´s the main reason our songs sound as good as they do. He has produced many of Latin rock´s top acts, including Miguel Rios, Tequila, Ariel Rot and Quique González. And he´s toured Spain and South America with Miguel Rios and the Bolivians. José was born in Madrid and studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

The multi-talented Jack is responsible for all design for our web, CDs and books. He also does our super-fun karaoke videos. He´s a busy guy! After years of working for ad agencies, he set off on his own to focus on music photography, videography, animation and design. He studied at the Llotja school and hails from Barcelona.

Nina co-wrote Oxford University Press´ top-selling coursebook Explorers. She´s been teaching at all levels since 1990, and is the editor of the online Oxford Magazine for pre-primary and primary teachers. She´s also the author of new material for bilingual schools in Spain (Think, DO! Learn series). She does most of her writing for us in airplanes and airports, as she bounces around the world (literally!) for her in-demand teacher workshops for Oxford Teacher´s Academy. We consider Nina a rock star of the teacher-training world, helping teachers how to teach English with music and movement, among other things. Nina was born in Calgary, Canada and holds a B.A. in Humanities from Bishop’s University, Canada.
Juan has 25 years of experience in the audio and image field. Founded in 1997, his studio has worked with the most prestigious names, companies and brands of the entertainment and audiovisual world. He does some amazing sound effects and backing vocals for Dancing English, advises on a wide variety of issues--and you can hear his distinctive British accent in the spoken sections of songs like Movie Star, Sports Hero, or I'm A Spy. He has won two BPME awards for his promotional work on the “Twin Peaks” and “Freddy’s Nightmares” series and was nominated as a finalist for the APPE awards in the category of “Best Sound”. Juan is from Nottingham, England.
